Every single signal fails sometimes: moving averages fake out, momentum snaps, macro calls arrive late. Multi-factor resonance refuses to bet on any one signal, instead watching several relatively independent lines of evidence — price structure, momentum strength, macro environment, money flows — and raising confidence only when they agree.
The premise that makes it work is independence. Five price-derived indicators all bullish is one piece of information told five ways; bullish price structure plus improving macro plus inflowing funds is three pieces from different sources. The Bayesian intuition: only stacking independent evidence genuinely lifts the posterior.
The practical recipe: each factor family casts a directional vote (long / short / neutral), votes are reliability-weighted into a net resonance score. Strongly positive score = multiple independent lines agree bullish; a torn score = evidence in conflict, where the rational move is usually cutting size rather than guessing a side.
